I'm so jealous of all these gorgeous Coraline boxes. I'm a little sad that I gave up on reading Coraline when I did (I've since lost the book) it had gotten to a point that it got too creepy for me. Yes me! I got majorly wigged out by a children's book! Although I haven't seen the trailer for the movie my curiosity has gotten very piqued, especially since I hunted for, and found, all 26 internet Coraline Alphabet cards.
I'm more than willing to give Coraline another try when it's re-released (movie-tie-in cover that is, most movies based on books do it) Heck, in my small town they didn't even have a movie-tie-in cover of Stardust when the movie was released. (my first Neil Gaiman book I'm proud to say. I managed to finish reading it the day before it was released in theaters) So I may have to wait (Agh! I hope not.) 'til the next time I got to Johnson City to hit Books-A-Million for a copy. Perhaps the same copy I've lost. And if I should end up with two copies I'll either give one to Aunt BJB or Cousin Andy. One of the two. Heck I'm even taken to cleaning out my jewelery box (which looks like it might fix it with those lovely Coraline boxes) and fill it with unexpected little things I'm even trying to convert the ring tray (I've removed the ring-holding lining and try to scrap the bottom of so I can get the glue-hardened residue off, so that I can fit more in it. Funny how jealousy makes a person more creative that normal eh? Trying to think of little thinks and doo-dads for my own little box but I haven't come up with anything yet. Perhaps I should make it a trinket box for holding things my character ("Aidan Iris Sutherland" or Ike for short) might have around her, or should I say, the things that 'are' her. I hope you get my meaning. Personal things she wouldn't want her step-family to see for one reason or another. I've already got one idea what would go in her box but I've got nothing similar, in real life, to match it. Ah, baby steps it is then, I'll think of something to add to it later.
Meanwhile, on another subject. Why is it that every time I want to got to bed. Every time my head hits the pillow and my eyes droop, that another idea pops into my head for my original story idea. It can't be helped although I try to not to think too much when trying to drift off but my brain refuses to stop with ideas! Seriously Why don't these ideas come while I'm wide awake and while my computers on? I am not about to turn on my computer, as sleepy as I am in the middle of the night, to jot or type out another idea! Good grief, my poor weary body has to sleep sometime!
BTW I've finished my two disc a day marathon of the LotR trilogy (the end part during the day and the beginning of the next part at night). I've forgotten how much I love it. Now I've got the craving for King Arthur again. Never seen the theatrical version. The director's cut is all I know. I blubber like a big baby when ever I watch that movie.

Nothing much to post of as of yet. I created this journal just last night. Writing this so my poor frontpage isn't empty and sickly looking. In the meanwhile I'm downloading the most recent MuggleCast (165) even thought I'm downloading the low-bandwidth version it's still taking a while.
